I understand that our eyelashes to play an important part in our biology. They keep crap from falling into our eyes. However, I was always under the impression that if you didn't have good natural eyelashes, you could just apply false ones.

Women do this for fashion all the time. They don't even take that long to apply.

My question is:

Why do we need pharmaceuticals such as this one?

I understand that scientific discoveries are often made in unusual circumstances, but...

After discovery this would have required additional animal and human testing to test for safety and efficacy.

Before being marketed en masse, time would need to be spent figuring out the engineering of making the drug en masse.

So I will offer this to any pharmaceutical/biological/medical researchers that may see this...

CANCER. CURE CANCER!
AIDS. AIDS IS BIG PROBLEM! Make a vaccine or find a way to get HIV out of someone's body.
AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES LIKE MS, ALS, LUPUS AND THE LIKE...

FIX THESE! Stop worrying about erectile dysfunction, baldness and eyelashes. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be allowed to research or make what they want (that would make me a communist or something). I'm saying that maybe (just maybe), people doing medical research and making pharmaceuticals should examine their priorities.
